Thanks for your advice. LTc5 Vietnam ... |

LT credits for regional priorityNC-v4 LTc1: LEED for Neighborhood Development locationposted by Emily Purcell on Aug 12, 2020, 5:27 pmTristan Roberts Representative Vermont House of Representatives LEEDuser Expert 11478 thumbs up August 14, 2020- 7:34 am Hi Emily, I agree with you that this is an area where your eligibility for RP credits is affected in a way that is probably non-intentional. Bottom line, I would ask GBCI if they can help. As you point out the LEED Online mechanism is automatic but they might have a workaround for this. To play devil's advocate, the argument I can see GBCI making is that LTc1 is a convenience credit that replaces more detailed documentation of other LT credits. Convenience doesn't come... Uplights in an LZ0 zoneNC-v4.1 SSc6: Light Pollution Reductionposted by Ellis John Mandia on Apr 11, 2022, 8:36 amCan the percentage values prescribed in the "Maximum allowed percentage of total luminaire lumens emitted above horizontal" be taken as time-related? For example, if we have uplights in a LZ0 project and we provide a strategy to turn off these lights before curfew (ex: by 10PM the lumens emitted shall be zero), can that action satisfy the requirement? Are all project parking spaces to be included in the count for an Addition, or just the new spaces designed for the Addition?NC-v4.1 LTc8: Electric Vehiclesposted by Mollie O'Rourke on Mar 23, 2022, 8:48 pmDave Hubka Practice Leader- Sustainability EUA LEEDuser Expert 537 thumbs up March 25, 2022- 8:24 pm it is my understanding the parking lots serving buildings that are not pursuing LEED are also required to be included in the percentage. For example if the total number of parking spaces is 100 but only 40 are for the project building pursuing LEED, you still need to base your percentage calc off of 100. tidbit- use the v4.1 April 2019 version. this only requires 2% and 6%. The v1 v4.1 credit template reflects this percentage. Since v4.1 is not a voted / balloted / approved rating system project... Last reply: emily reese moody, Apr 12, 2022, 12:34 pm |

Is janitor closet water use considered as Process Water and need to be measured apart of domestic fixtures piping?NC-v4 WEp3: Building-level water meteringposted by Mauricio Toro on Mar 31, 2022, 5:15 pmWe have been receiving comments from the LEED reviewer team asking for information to confirm that the non-fixture usage (e.g. electric water coolers / janitors sinks) is measured and can be deducted from the measured total water consumption of the building and grounds to measure the usage of the indoor plumbing fixtures (described in WEp Indoor Water Use Reduction). To do this, we would need to provide an individual piping line only for janitor closets, which is extremely costly for any building. In addition, including this does not provide a real value for the project water management, since... Last reply: Dave Hubka, Apr 9, 2022, 8:10 am |

Compliance of furniture with COM (customer's own material)NC-v4.1 EQc2: Low-emitting materialsposted by Renee Shirey on Mar 31, 2022, 8:50 pmCould someone please confirm my understanding of how COM fabric or laminat would affect compliance? My understanding is that when a furniture assembly is tested, it is with their standard line of finishes (textile, laminate, etc). If we have selected to use COM for the furniture, that furniture would need to go through testing with the COM to ensure compliance, correct? I just wanted to make sure I couldn't pair together the certificates for the standard product and also include certificates for the COM finishes. Thanks everyone! EQc2 ... How to Calculate Surface ReflectivityNC-v4.1 EQc6: Interior lightingposted by Tim Murray on Oct 26, 2021, 4:25 pmIn LEEDv4, the Surface Reflectivity criteria was measured by using "area-weighted averages", thus the Interior LIghting Calculator asked for areas of walls and ceilings. One big compliant area could make up for a lot of smaller non-compliant areas. There is no updated calculator for v4.1 and the Surface Reflectivity criteria calls for only for "at least 90% regularly occupied spaces...". Therefore, do we simply list our regularly occupied spaces with LRVs and count to see if 90% of our spaces comply, no areas needed? EQc6 ... Last reply: Federica Ariaudo, Apr 8, 2022, 12:23 pm |
