Our Sustainability Team is looking for a motivated and creative sustainability consultant with a minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial building design or construction field and/or LEED certification experience, and excellent technical, task management, and written & verbal communication skills. We are seeking an individual with a strong commitment to sustainability, customer service and a responsible work ethic. 

Key responsibilities include support for implementation of green building certifications, review building design documents and construction submittals, and work directly with contractors. 

This is a hybrid position allowing for work from the office and home, and it requires on-site presence in clients' buildings.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial building design or construction field and/or LEED  certification experience
  • Strong practical background with commercial buildings 
  • Competency with Microsoft Office products and Google G Suite
  • Motivated and detail oriented

Other Desired Qualifications

  • LEED Accredited Professional or Green Associate
  • Undergraduate degree in environmental or building science, architecture, construction management, related field or equivalent experience.
  • Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks, excellent organization, and time management skills.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Support Project Managers to  implement green building certification programs for commercial buildings
  • Review building design documents and construction submittals for requirements
  • Work directly with contractors throughout construction
  • Prepare green building certification documentation for LEED and other certification programs
  • Maintain project budgets
