Hi all! I am working in a High School project and have separated my Groups into Students and Staff, however, when I try to set the Uses per Day to zero for FTE and the correct number to K-12 students, the spreadsheet doesn't do the calculations. Is the spreadsheet wrong? Has anyone found this same incident?  Thanks!  WEp2 Peru ...

LM-83 and spaces greater than 10,000 SF

Pilot-Credits EQpc116: Daylight in nonregularly occupied spaces
posted by Stephanie Graham on Mar 23, 2021, 12:24 pm

Opening a new comment. Our Project is a large university campus thermal energy plant and the chiller room alone is over 10,000 SF and the largest space in the building.  Our daylight modeler noted that LM-83 typically asks for daylit spaces to be divided (virtually) into segments of less than 10,000 SF.  As a workaround we are dividing the room in Revit with a boundary line.  Has anyone else had this issue arise, and if so, did you handle this the same way or use another way?  Thanks for any feedback.   EQpc116 United States ...

100% greenfield site admissibility

NC-v4.1 SSc2: Protect or Restore Habitat
posted by Carla Rincon on Feb 6, 2023, 10:06 am

Hello everyone,  Can you help me clarify if a 100% greenfield site, with no previously developped areas can traget this credit? The credit requires to "...Restore a portion of the site (including the building footprint) identified as previously disturbed". In the case of a greenfield site, can we calculate the % of the site to restore by using the building's footprint? or would we have to consider the entire project's footprint? (with parking lots and all hardscape areas?). We are already complying with the 1rst requirement which is to "Preserve and protect from all...

LEED v4.1 O+M, Energy and Atmosphere- Energy Performance- Arc Platform- CHP

EBOM-v4.1 EAp3: Energy Performance
posted by Flotra Stamm on Dec 20, 2023, 6:44 am

We have a question regarding filling out the data information in ARC platform for a CHP. It produces heat (natural Gas) and electricity. The question is now how to asign the electricity that is produced onsite and also the electricty that is counted as an energy input. As far as we understand it, there is only the option for 'generated onsite- renewable' not for other options.  For electricity we have the meters:- purchased from grid- electricity input - electricity production Thanks a lot in advance for any help or advise!:) EAp3 Germany ...

Mauricio Ramirez Bovis Project Management SA de CV LEEDuser Basic Member 1 thumbs up March 15, 2023- 9:46 pm My experience is thate, if your project already has community engagement programs or synergies with other programs, then you are ok.  If you haven't that, you can find that starting from scratch could be a lot of effort for the point provided, but nontheless the extra effort really could help to improve the community and offently doesn't cost much to the project, and create a positive impact to the broader community.  Log in or register to post comments Kelsey Wotila Foresight...
