How to Calculate Surface ReflectivityNC-v4.1 EQc6: Interior lightingposted by Tim Murray on Oct 26, 2021, 4:25 pmIn LEEDv4, the Surface Reflectivity criteria was measured by using "area-weighted averages", thus the Interior LIghting Calculator asked for areas of walls and ceilings. One big compliant area could make up for a lot of smaller non-compliant areas. There is no updated calculator for v4.1 and the Surface Reflectivity criteria calls for only for "at least 90% regularly occupied spaces...". Therefore, do we simply list our regularly occupied spaces with LRVs and count to see if 90% of our spaces comply, no areas needed? EQc6 ... Last reply: Federica Ariaudo, Apr 8, 2022, 12:23 pm |

MRc7 Combine all three options to meet threshold, and supporting documentation?Healthcare-v4 MRc7: Furniture and medical furnishingsposted by Grace Heraly on Apr 1, 2022, 11:20 amHello Everyone, I'm working on a LEEDv2009 HC project, but figured I would post here as the question pertains to v4 as well. I am wondering whether you have to choose one option and must meet the 30%/40% threshold with that singular option, or can you combine compliant furniture in all three options to meet those thresholds? I'm also curious about the supporting documentation required. I'm not seeing a line in the LEEDonline form asking for any, but have heard 20%. Does anyone know for certain what the requirement is for supporting documentation? Thank you! MRc7 United States ... |

Interior Irrigation?NC-v4 WEp2: Indoor water use reductionposted by Allison Wilson on Oct 1, 2019, 10:02 amOur project has interior planting which will be irrigated. Obviously there's nowhere in the Indoor Water Use calculator for irrigation since it addresses only flush/flow fixtures, but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense that the interior irrigation is all considered process water either. The project will also have exterior, irrigated landscape which will be subject to the Outdoor Water Use Reduction prereq/credit. Anyone else have this project experience? Did you account for indoor irrigation water? If so, where? WEp2 ... Last reply: Dave Hubka, Mar 31, 2022, 9:27 pm |

LTc5- Access to Quality Transit- Awarded Credit- obtain more pointsNC-v4.1 LTc5: Access to quality transitposted by A&L SUSTENTABILIDADE on Mar 29, 2022, 4:16 pmDuring the Design Review, we have submitted the LT credit Access to quality transit, and we have earned 4 out of 5 points (LEED v4.1). However, during the Construction Phase, we detected an increase in the bus lines and trips. We believe that this increase is due to a higher demand caused by the ending of the COVID-19 restrictions, and people returning to work at the offices. We have not experienced resubmitting an awarded credit before. Can we resend the documentation with more trips to earn more points? Do we need to pay for an appeal of that credit? LTc5 Brazil ... |
