STC requirement for a Retail area next to a hallway in a medical building

Acoustic Performance Credit for Residences

Two aspects of this credit seem to make it not achievable for new residential buildings - Reverberation Time <0.6 seconds for residences, and STCc 50 from residences to corridors.

Sound Rating Method - can these vary per space types?

For HVAC Background Noise, do all spaces have to use the same Sound Rating Method (NC/RC, dBA,
dBC, RC(N)), or can these vary by individual space or by space type?

Heat Pump Room = Mechanical Room?

We are trying to determine whether or not a Heat Pump Room would be considered a "Mechanical Room" for purposes of the Acoustic Performance credit?

I'm working with a Spain Project. Spain doesn't use STC Rating, Spain assesses with dB. Can you say me what is the relation between STC and dB? How I can convert the dB into STC? Thank you.

Hi, It is told that Rw is very similar to STC, I would like to ask for Sound transmission, Does LEED recognize the use of Rw (Weighted Sound Reduction index) and ISO 140 (acoustic) standard instead
