Compliance through furnished measurement

Is it possible to achieve compliance for this credit by taking reverberation measurements once the multifamily units are occupied and furnished? The inclusion of furniture will have a significant impact on the reverberation time in apartment units.

Alternatively is there a way to assume minimum furnished levels. Again the difference in reverberation for an empty or furnished apartment is significant, but it's unrealistic to take these readings in vacant units.

We encountered this issue on a similar project and were told by the LEED consultant that we should not assume furnishings in the apartment. Unfortunately, as you have noted, this prohibits compliance with the credit: meeting the RT goals would require a fully furnished apartment.
