the meaning of "office" in office/hallway adjacency combinations

Hello,

I would be very grateful for explaining the type of space named „office” in the table 1 in the reference guide (page 758) in office/hallway adjacency combination. Is it regular office or some kind of executive space? The requirements are very strict, so it looks like as if this space were rather executive. Thank you in advance for your professional reply.

I would like an answer to this as well. We have a critical facility with private offices around the perimeter and an open office in the middle of a space. Do the walls separating these private offices from the open office (which you could argue have a hallway separating them) have to have an STC value of 50? If so, that means we cannot have vision glazing along those interior walls to get daylight into the open office space.
