Approved Documentation for the California Department of Public Health General Emissions EvaluationNC-v4.1 EQc2: Low-emitting materialsposted by Summer Gorder on Jan 14, 2020, 12:24 pmDuWayne Baird Principal EA Energy Solutions, LLC LEEDuser Premium Member 15 thumbs up January 14, 2020- 1:45 pm I've been having a lot of good luck with this credit since adopting v4.1. Greenguard Gold is a good place to start, and all of those certificates can be found on the UL Spot database website. If the products are from a European firm for example, a lot of times they will be tested for emissions under a similar but different standard, such as GEV. There's also usually at least one compliant product for every use. Any specific products you're really struggling with? Log... Last reply: Suzanne Roach, Nov 10, 2022, 12:50 pm |

EPD: products with same technical charachteristics but different thickness, are considered distincts products (BA13/BA15,NC-v4 MRc2: Building product disclosure and optimization - environmental product declarationsposted by Sara BENLOUBA on Nov 2, 2022, 9:23 amDenise Bevilaqua HIGHLAND ASSOCIATES LEEDuser Basic Member 28 thumbs up November 2, 2022- 10:23 am Sara, The answer will depend upon the impacts reported in the EPD. If the EPD reports each variation (thickness) with the differing impacts, they can each be counted separately, however, if the EPD reports "collective" impacts (based upon a representative product), then no- they cannot be counted separately. There is a good explanation of this in a recent publication titiled "BPDO Credit Checklists and Submittal Tips". I found lots of answers and insights in it.... available... Calculation Rainwater Amount V4 vs V2009NC-v4 SSc4: Rainwater managementposted by Anna Korinkova on Oct 10, 2022, 2:26 amHello everyone, I have managed to read trough the comments in the forum and from what i have read i understood that the calculation that indicates the amount of water to be managed on site should be taken from the LEED V2009 SSc6.1 Credit. Meaning even if a project is setting out to achieve LEED V4.0 we use LEED v2009 calculation method: V.=P*Rv*A/12 My question is, do we then also need to prove that the tanks are going to be emptied after each storm, using storm interval of 3 days as LEED v2009 used? There is not a single line in LEED v4.0 guide about Drawdown rate, about emptying tanks before another... Last reply: Anna Korinkova, Oct 18, 2022, 1:18 pm |
