On discussing further with GBCI it was noted that there wasn't really a rule of thumb we could use, it would just have to actually be separately metered. From that conversation it sounded like the reviewer had (understandably!) gotten a lot of pushback on this approach, and they'd sent that up the chain of command, but ultimately the approach has not changed....

Hello everyone! I am working on 2 buildings that are registered in one project following the group approach. We did not report the buildings seperatly on the MEPC in the first submittal and, as such, the GBCI reviewer just commented that we needed to do that (report multiple buildings on the MEPC) and to "show that each building independently complies with the prerequisite requirement. Hi there, I am currently calculating the power allowance for exterior lighting in a school project. In this case, there is quite a lot of exterior spaces and landscaping. Almost one-third of the trees are illuminated, however, I am not sure which could be an acceptable and effective way to measure the illuminated area for the LPD allowance calculation. As per now I have considered "approximately" the area that will "feel" illuminated. That is about 3m around the trees lighting.
