Lighting Boundary modification- Railway trackNC-v4 SSc6: Light Pollution Reductionposted by Lenka Matějíčková on Aug 24, 2023, 6:01 amWe have a major industrial development (car manufacturing plant) project. There is a railway track going along the north perimeter of the factory. This topic has already been discused on this forum in 2017, without a clear conclusion (the key question was revolving around whether the railway track can... Future medical office building- views methodologyCS-v4.1 EQc5: Quality Viewsposted by Jeremy Shiman on Aug 14, 2023, 10:45 amWe are pursuing the Quality Views credit on a CS project that was originally going to be the shell for a tech client, but will now be the shell for a MOB. As such, we certainly won't comply with the typical requirements. I'm wondering if anyone has pursued this credit in a similar situation and used the LEED for Healthcare guidelines for how to calculate Quality Views compliant area, rather than using the more general quality... |

Acoustical Performance for NC Renovation projectNC-2009 IDc1: Innovation in Designposted by Linda Davisson on Sep 8, 2010, 2:00 pmShannon Gray Consultant YRG sustainability LEEDuser Basic Member 228 thumbs up September 8, 2010- 4:08 pm That is a good question that is asked a lot. My guess would be that you would want to aim somewhere in between the two. The prerequisite addresses Reverberation Time and HVAC Background Noise, where the credit also addresses Sound Transmission from adjacent spaces. I would aim for addressing all three areas but would not necessarily hit the credit requirements. You should check out the Documentation Toolkit section of this credit on LU for an overview of how Armstrong earned and Acoustic ID... Last reply: Rezkar Abdulmajeed, Jul 29, 2023, 4:25 am |

Does the owner of the project own other buildings in the area? Or do you know others who pay the local utility rates? You can just figure out what the local rate is without getting it from the utility.
