Example of DAYLIGHT AND ViewsNC-2009 IEQc8.1: Daylight and views - daylightposted by bojana kovacevic on May 20, 2016, 4:31 am9:22 am So I reviewed your plan with your proposed view lines. It is not correct. The space you are showing looks to be a typical curtain wall construction. You can pretty much ignore the frames. I'm replying with an attached drawing show how to do the view lines. This space would be 100% compliant. Also, refer to page 570 of the reference guide for how to do view lines. Log in or register... When the requirements are too long or complicated to explain I just pointed out that they should review in detail in the v4 Rating System and put the pdf... LEED Boundary and Complete Building Question...NC-v4 MPR2: Must use reasonable LEED boundariesposted by Roxanne Button on Jan 20, 2017, 7:15 pmThis may be more in line with MPR #1, but it also has to do with the LEED boundary so I'll post it here first. We have a project that includes 4 separate structures, with 1 being on an noncontiguous site: two have occupied spaces ("complete buildings") and two are open-air structures with roofs but no walls (and no building systems). My first thought was that the only buildings eligible for LEED certification are the two with occupiable space, and that the LEED boundary should only include those two. But since the development as a whole includes all 4 structures, I'm not clear... Last reply: Deborah Lucking, Jan 23, 2017, 12:50 pm |
