Associated Grounds Metering

We got a response back from GBCI today for WEp3 after asking about the metering requirement for the "associated grounds".

Open space 30% requirement at Ground Level only?

Can you include open spaces at roof level (Green roof, accessible by all) as part of the 30% requirement, or does the entire 30% need to come from open space at ground level only?

I read the below for LEED V4: How the language currently reads, if you recycle 10 different materials all in 1 commingled dumpster, that only counts as 1 waste stream.
