The project is on a campus that contains a large bird sanctuary that is managed by the Owner, which is open to the public for passive recreation.  This wildlife sanctuary is not part of the Land Trust Alliance although it was donated to the Owner in the past as a wildlife sanctuary. The long term plan is for the sanctuary to remain as a publicly accessible wildlife reserve. Could $0.40/sf of site area be spent on restoration of the sanctuary and meet the credit intent?
