LEED project boundary as big as 400m radiusCS-v4 LTc4: Surrounding density and diverse usesposted by Instra Ingenieros on Jan 24, 2018, 10:33 amPurcell Sustainable Design Lead CannonDesign LEEDuser Expert 369 thumbs up October 13, 2021- 11:43 am Hi Courtney, the offset would basically be 400m / 0.25 mi from the LEED boundary line in any direction. A "buffer" function in a GIS program could do this, or you could do it manually in a graphics or PDF editor by taking a few line measurements from the boundary and connecting them. Walkscore only for a few countries?NC-v4.1 LTc4: Surrounding density and diverse usesposted by Maria Porter on Feb 25, 2021, 5:19 amI investigated the new option 3 for this credit. The only information required is a screenshot of the Walkscore. That seems a lot easier than showing density calculations etc, could be an option for some projects. However, I noted that Walkscore says on the website that they only support the US, Canada, Australia and New Zeeland. Although I get results on my Swedish addresses that seem accurate. I contacted Walkscore, they say that “Walk Score is not supported in Sweden. Data may be inaccurate, incomplete, or missing entirely.” Does this mean that LEED would or would not accept that I use option 3? (I... Last reply: Ryan Hussey, Oct 8, 2021, 12:13 pm |

Interior Space counts toward 30% of totalHealthcare-v4 SSc7: Places of respiteposted by Maddie Spinski on Oct 6, 2021, 1:42 pmIn the v4 handbook, the requirements read that, "such interior spaces may be used to meet up to 30% of the required area if 90% of each qualifying space's gross floor area achieves a direct line of sight to unobstructed views of nature."
