EV Charger EnergyNC-v4 EAp2: Minimum Energy Performanceposted by Cory Duggin on Nov 19, 2021, 3:10 pmin water. My 2020 Greenbuild session with Peter Haas and Kelly Roberts specifically layers transportations, materials and operational carbon--I dubbed it "Designed for LEED Zero Carbon". It's good that LEED Zero Carbon for O&M includes these, but you're unlikely to get there unless you consider it in the design phase. And ignoring any of these carbon emissions promotes suboptimal... Bird collisions/Interference in the migratory routePilot-Credits SSpc55: Bird collision deterrenceposted by Ricardo Gomes on May 26, 2021, 9:34 amI’m curious if there is a pattern flight height for migratory birds. Our project is close to a large road network, with a lot of green area and along a flight corridor, landing, resting, feeding and reproduction Brazil native birds. A post-construction analysis would help to determine which species are most affected by this type of building. I am wondering if anyone has experienced any trends in bird collisions or interference in the migratory route medium and low-rise buildings. Requirements such as the collision of birds in buildings are essential because several studies have already demonstrated... Last reply: Sumaiya Mehjabeen, Dec 1, 2021, 11:47 am |

Custom Furniture- Testing as assembly?CI-v4 EQc2: Low-emitting materialsposted by Linda Davisson on Jun 5, 2019, 3:37 pmWe have a project with chairs that meet the emissions testing criteria and have custom upholstery that is GREENGUARD Gold. Do we include the upholstery as a unique line item on the LEM Calculator from the chairs? We are thinking because GREENGUARD Gold is CDPH compliant, that could that fall under the "USGBC-approved equivalent testing methodologies" and the upholstery should be listed as compliant. Can we submit BOTH chairs and upholstery as meeting the emissions criteria? OR, do they have to be tested as an assembly to comply? And what if the chair does not meet emissions criteria,...
