We have a project with chairs that meet the emissions testing criteria and have custom upholstery that is GREENGUARD Gold. Do we include the upholstery as a unique line item on the LEM Calculator from the chairs? We are thinking because GREENGUARD Gold is CDPH compliant, that could that fall under the "USGBC-approved equivalent testing methodologies" and the upholstery should be listed as compliant. Can we submit BOTH chairs and upholstery as meeting the emissions criteria? OR, do they have to be tested as an assembly to comply?
And what if the chair does not meet emissions criteria, but the upholstery is GREENGUARD Gold (or vice versa)? Because this credit is based on material cost values, each value could either contribute or not. Anyone have success in submitting this way?
