LEED project boundary as big as 400m radius

Purcell Sustainable Design Lead CannonDesign LEEDuser Expert 369 thumbs up October 13, 2021- 11:43 am Hi Courtney, the offset would basically be 400m / 0.25 mi from the LEED boundary line in any direction. A "buffer" function in a GIS program could do this, or you could do it manually in a graphics or PDF editor by taking a few line measurements from the boundary and connecting them.  I think these illustrations...

Option 2- No parking

NC-v4 SSc5: Heat Island Reduction
posted by Julie Hardy on Jan 25, 2018, 4:13 pm

Hello everyone, I am working on a project in which we plan to pursue option 1 of the Heath Island Reduction credit. We were wandering if the project would be admissible to option 2 as well, since there will be no parking on site? The project achieves all points for density and has zero-lot-line (the lot is 100% occupied by the building). I tried and test it in the LEED Online form, but it did not seems to be admissible to option 2 (it was admissible to option1). Thanks for your imput! SSc5 Canada ...

will use, regardless of scope/location of those fixtures. I would doubt that there are zero restrooms or other fixtures in the whole building for your occupants/visitors, unless maybe you have a warehouse or something along those lines. In general, if a building has at least 1 full-time equivalent employee (requirement to even pursue certification), there should typically be facilities available for use. Can you...

wouldn't be a big deal (not that it matters for the on-line form for this credit, which, last time I checked, doesn't have enough significant figures past the decimal to accommodate the ODP range of numbers, so everything zeros out anyway). In the LCA world, ODP is seen as relatively unimportant. Of all the categories, this is the last one that ought to have the power to torpedo an otherwise great...

LEEDuser Expert 32 thumbs up October 30, 2019- 9:44 am Hi there- Just found out that City reports aren't acceptable.  The test must be taken at the main water supply line near the LEED project boundary, so it takes into account any contaminants picked up in the lines  Log in or register to post comments Kelsey Wotila Foresight Management LEEDuser Basic Member 6 thumbs up August 14, 2020- 10:14 am So...
