Interchangeability of LE/FE vehicles and HOV parking spacesNC-2009 SSc4.3: Alternative transportation - low-emitting and fuel-efficient vehiclesposted by Karl Heitman on Nov 18, 2015, 4:07 pmTristan Roberts Representative Vermont House of Representatives LEEDuser Expert 11477 thumbs up November 26, 2015- 11:10 pm Joann, I would not be confident in this approach. While there is a lot of sense in your approach, the LEED requirements stipulate that the spaces are for LE/FE. You could be limiting access to LE/FE vechicles for these spaces in favor of HOV. Which may be justifiable from a policy perspective, but is outside of what LEED requires. If this is important I would look for a LEED Interpretation or other official communication from GBCI. rooftop parking lotsNC-2009 SSc7.2: Heat island effect - roofposted by Noriko Nagazumi on Jan 8, 2016, 1:26 amHi, Our project building is retail facility and has 4 above grade floors. The entire facility is conditioned. There is a parking floor above the retail floors. The parking lot floor is unconditioned and covered by a roof. On the roof there are uncovered parking lots. According to Interpretation 10235, "Roof area that consists of functional, usable spaces- such as helipads, recreation courts" can be exempted from SSc7.2 calculation. My question is if the rooftop parking area in our project can be exempted from SSc7.2 calculation, because parking lot could be assumed as functional usable space. Any...
