While there is a lot of sense in your approach, the LEED requirements stipulate that the spaces are for LE/FE. You could be limiting access to LE/FE vechicles for these spaces in favor of HOV. Hi, Our project building is retail facility and has 4 above grade floors. The entire facility is conditioned. There is a parking floor above the retail floors. The parking lot floor is unconditioned and covered by a roof. On the roof there are uncovered parking lots. According to Interpretation 10235, "Roof area that consists of functional, usable spaces- such as helipads, recreation courts" can be exempted from SSc7.2 calculation.
