Parking spacesNC-v4 LTc7: Reduced parking footprintposted by David O'Connell on Mar 28, 2024, 5:13 amGioia Connell Consultant WSP LEEDuser Expert 1 thumbs up March 28, 2024- 3:01 pm Hello fellow *Connell, In our team's experience any parking space that is allocated for use by the building occupants will need to be included, even if they are not new spaces. LTc Compact & ConnectedLEED v5 BD+C/ID+C: Location and Transportation Public Commentsposted by Emily Purcell on Apr 16, 2024, 2:07 pm"The counted uses must represent at least three of the five categories, exclusive of the building’s primary use category." This language has posed a challenge for projects in v4/4.1 especially those in the Civic and Services categories. Those two categories are so broad and diverse that well-connected projects can get caught up by not having enough OTHER uses. I appreciate the intent behind this, e.g. not just letting a project in a retail strip earn the credit for being near a lot of stores even if the whole development is isolated and car dependent. I think removing... Last reply: Dave Hubka, Apr 16, 2024, 2:59 pm |
