LEED CI Fried chicken restaurantCI-2009 MRp1: Storage and Collection of Recyclablesposted by Jatuwat Varodompun on Jul 10, 2013, 10:51 amJohn Beeson Green Mystic in Residence LEEDuser Premium Member 107 thumbs up August 14, 2013- 10:36 am Hi Jatuwat, some quick responses: 1. All five types must be provided, regardless of the waste types generated by the project. 2. As long as there is adequate justification to the recycling volume and pickup frequencies, the bins could serve as storage. Your narrative should include details along those lines, describing exactly how long recycling waste will stay in the bins and when it will be picked-up for recycling. If the bins get emptied because they are full, but pickup doesn't occur... Last reply: John Beeson, Aug 14, 2013, 12:10 pm |

This building is factory which runs a production line. the addition will represent more than 5% of the building area, and less than 50% of the total gross square footage of the building. Our question is. Will this follow under the LEED EB_O&M Rating System? Or can we insert it in another rating system? Thanks LEED-NC 2009 ... Last reply: Tristan Roberts, Jul 22, 2013, 9:18 am |

Does Bill of Lading enough as supporting doc?EBOM-2009 MRc2: Sustainable Purchasing—Durable Goodsposted by Katherine Ann Resurreccion on Jul 24, 2013, 9:29 pmFrom the the ACP for Regional Materials, it says "Products shipped by rail or water have been extracted, harvested or recovered, as well as manufactured within 500 miles total travel distance of the project site using a weighted average formula." The supplier present a Bill of Lading which shows the location of their warehouse to final destination of the product in their local office. This is our first time to document this and we would like to ask your help on how do we measure the distance from one point to another. Thanks a lot. MRc2 ... At what point is something considered non-monoculture?EBOM-2009 SSc5: Site development - protect or restore open habitatposted by Allen Scerber on Sep 6, 2013, 10:00 amTristan Roberts Representative Vermont House of Representatives LEEDuser Expert 11477 thumbs up September 8, 2013- 1:37 pm Allen, I don't think there is any clear dividing line between monoculture and polyculture. However, among the suggestions in your post I think that overseeding multiple other species would come closest to what you need. Just added a tree or some bushes is a good step but you see trees plopped in the middle of turf grass everywhere and it doesn't exactly scream "biodiversity."
