Very confused- Natural VentilationNC-2009 IEQc2: Increased Ventilationposted by Jeff Potter on May 5, 2014, 11:42 amTony Ricketts Mechanical Engineer CJL Engineering LEEDuser Basic Member 25 thumbs up May 6, 2014- 8:45 am Jeff, I did a Preschool / Daycare NC project between Philly and Allentown with a similar situation, and our Increased Ventilation credit was rejected. I'm going from memory here, but their explanation was something along the lines of 'a project cannot utilize both natural and mechanical ventilation to meet the requirements of this credit. There is no need for the air conditioning system to be operational while windows are open and the space is being naturally conditioned, as this would cause... correction for online reference guideNC-v4 SSc4: Rainwater managementposted by Lyle Axelarris on May 8, 2014, 9:55 pmI have subscribed to access for the online v4 Reference Guide, and I noticed a couple of mistakes in the example for this credit. I'm not sure how to provide feedback to USGBC regarding this, so I thought I'd try posting it here. I suggest typing it as: Ft = fmin + (fmax – fmin) e^- k t The "^" is standard notation for an exponent in single line text. Also, the weighted... Last reply: Theresa Backhus, Apr 22, 2016, 4:04 pm |

Parking Capacity includes capacity for Future DevelopmentNC-2009 SSc4.4: Alternative transportation - parking capacityposted by Sadie Martin on Jun 2, 2014, 12:53 pmWe are working on a project that is trying to jumpstart development in the city center. Our project is providing more parking then needed by the building so that future buildings nearby can tie into the parking garage instead of creating new surface lots. Has anyone had success with arguing for a case like this? If we receive a signed letter of intent from these future devopements saying that they will be tieing into this parking garage, could we only count the spaces that will be reserved for our building within our LEED documentation even though the entire garage is within our boundary? SSc4.4 ... Last reply: Sadie Martin, Sep 13, 2015, 6:24 pm |
