Shared walls with another structure in baseline and proposed

NC-v4 EAc2: Optimize Energy Performance

Hello,

In my baseline model, can I show shared walls as exposed to exterior and then in my proposed model treat that wall as a partition?

In other words, do I get to use the...

Energy Model AND LEED Excel sheet required

NC-v4 EAc2: Optimize Energy Performance

Are both required to be completed?  If so, one has to enter all the building information into compliant energy modeling software AND into the LEED Excel sheet?  That's ridiculous.

Modeling Microturbines in EnergyPro

Marcus Sheffer LEED Fellow 7group / Energy Opportunities LEEDuser Expert 5916 thumbs up February 21, 2019- 5:17 pm Software specific questions are usually best asked of the vendor's customer service or through one of the forums at onebuilding.org Microturbines would not be at all like solar panels since they consume gas and produce electricity. Both would need to be accounted for in the modeling results. The free heat would assume that there is waste heat recovery associated with the microturbine system. If the software cannot model this system for LEED then you need to provide a work...
