Doing both the Level II assessment and credit EA2.3 "ongoing Cx"

posted by  Tom Kennedy  on

Our team sees benefit to doing both, and making a deliberate effort to place energy-items into either the "audit" or "Cx" category (so we don't duplicate too much).

cold, dark warehouses in v4

LEED Reviews: Appeals, Design/Construction Submittals, and more

The majority of our Core & Shell warehouse projects are cold, dark shells with no tenants. We do not see a path for these projects to achieve certification at all in LEED v4 C&S.

As I understand it, IDC projects are required to use Actual Materials cost and to include furniture in that cost.

Support Buildings impact on Heat Island Effect

NC-2009 SSc7.1:Heat Island Effect—Non-Roof
posted by  Daniela Mendez  on

We have a project with a support building with no FTEs, hence, it is not a certifiable building according to the MPRs and we will only be using it to count the materials waste management.
