only DOAS ventilation space

the project primary HVAC system is VRF+DOAS. there is one work shop space that have no indoor VRF unit but outdoor air intake through DOAS. DOAS is not intended for conditioning space.

Does anybody know if performing energy modeling using ComCheck satisfies the requirements for Whole Building Energy Simulation, or is something more extensive required?

If same Lighting Power Density (W/sf) was used in all zones during the design phase using Building Type Method, should we switch to space by space on its final stage?

Hi, I have a doubt on how to establish the heating setpoint for an HVAC system which has no heating system. In a specific project, I have only cooling system serving conditioned areas.

In the proposed design, we are using a water-to-water heat pump for the sole purpose of service water heating. Voltage and Amps are 460v and 140 RLA, respectively.

We’re working on a 20 stories building that is seeking LEED NC v3 certification. This building considers ASHRAE’s #8 HVAC baseline system: VAV w/ PFP boxes.
