the project primary HVAC system is VRF+DOAS. there is one work shop space that have no indoor VRF unit but outdoor air intake through DOAS. DOAS is not intended for conditioning space.
Whole Building Energy Modeling Software
NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performanceposted by Rick Alfandre on
Does anybody know if performing energy modeling using ComCheck satisfies the requirements for Whole Building Energy Simulation, or is something more extensive required?
Building Type Method or Space-by-Space on Construction phase
NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performanceposted by Katherine Ann Resurreccion on
If same Lighting Power Density (W/sf) was used in all zones during the design phase using Building Type Method, should we switch to space by space on its final stage?

Baseline service water heater
NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performanceposted by Mark Benson on
In the proposed design, we are using a water-to-water heat pump for the sole purpose of service water heating. Voltage and Amps are 460v and 140 RLA, respectively.
Natural Ventilation in Baseline?
NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performanceposted by Marina Andrade on
In environments where they will be covered by natural ventilation, how should I proceed in baseline model? For example, a factory or warehouse with the proposed natural ventilation, must be equal
VAV minimum flow set points
NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performanceposted by Victoria Watson on
Hi, Appendix G3.1.3.13 says "Minimum volume setpoints for VAV reheat boxes shall be 2.15 L/s·m2 of floor area served or the minimum ventilation rate, whichever is larger" When you have a HVAC sys
