This might be a rather simple question, but would like avoid confusion. Apendix G indicates for vertical fenestration "40% of gross above-grade wall area, or smaller, shall be distributed uniformly in horizontal bands accross the four orientations". Should the glazing band go accross a refrigerated area (-18 C) also, or only accross any space regardless the temperature of the space.

We are modeling a warehouse, and a portion of the project is composed of insulated freezers. The energy modeller´s doubt is if the glazing band (to comply with appendix G) should go accross this area or not?, as going accross it would increase energy consumption in the baseline case to maintain the inside temperature of the freezer (-18 C), and would obtain better results when comparing it to the proposed case.

From the information read, it seems it should include this area, but would like to make sure based on others experiences.
