Greetings,
We have a project, which is registered upon LEED-NC v2009, with unit type SI.
The online form of EAp2 has a new form, which is directing us to upload the Minimum Energy Performance Calculator. This calculator however is for LEEDv4 and if used for LEED 2009, it is to use the ASHRAE 90.1-2010 pathway.
The designers have already been informed that they should refer ASHRAE 90.1-2007and the project design is completed.
Please advice how to proceed in this case.
Thanks

There is a version of the MEPC that is based mostly on 90.1-2007.
You have a few choices.
1. You can use the new form with the MEPC. It has SI units as an option so that helps you but it still has some quirks and issues.
2. You can contact GBCI and request that they replace the form in LEED Online with the older v5 form and then use the previous Section 1.4 Tables.
3. You can simply upload the v5 version of the form and the Section 1.4 Tables, however this will not record information correctly in LEED Online and may affect the calculations and documentation of other related credits.
The one thing you definitely should not do is use the new form with the old Section 1.4 Tables. This combination will not provide the reviewer with the information they need to evaluate EAp2.
