What is the Exact Definition of A Trip?

I am posting this question largely because the credit langauage is not very clear(maybe language nativity issues here). In the Reference Guide, "A Trip" is defined as follows-

Do we have two options for this credit:
1. locating the project within 1/4 mile radius
2. locating the project within 1/2 mile radius

or we have to fulfill both requirements?

If the site is walking distance from two separate stops but service the same routes can you count both

The site is close to two different stops alexion and BDC but the two stops are serviced by the same routes ? can you count both stops towards the total number of buses i.e.
