On-site duct manufactureNC-2009 IEQc3.1: Construction IAQ management plan - during constructionposted by Mauricio Ramirez on Dec 5, 2011, 2:15 pmHi. One of the projects in which I'm involved will have on-site HVAC duct manufacture. Does this practice has any inconvenient for the compliance with the credit IEQc3.1? We should manage that once installed all the ductwork will be sealed as usual, but I haven't read a lot about requirements for on-site duct ellaboration. If anyone could comment on this, it will be much appreciated! IEQc3.1 ... Last reply: G R, Feb 5, 2014, 12:56 pm |

MRc5 for a convention hall with two restaurantsEBOM-2009 MRc5: Sustainable purchasing - foodposted by Iñigo Aizpuru on Jan 23, 2012, 3:37 amHi, we are analyzing the feasibility of obtaining an EBOM Certificate for a Convention Hall in Spain. In the Hall there are lots of meeting rooms to be rented and 2 restaurants. Regarding this credit, we understand that obviously food purchased by the restaurants should be included. However, I am not so sure if we should include the catering services that are widely used for meeting rooms. In this second case, the food is brought into the building already prepared, and the Convention Hall has no control over it (I mean, it is not purchased by any company located in the Convention Hall, but purchased... Building Footprint- Parking GaragesCS-2009 SSc5.1: Site development - protect or restore habitatposted by WAGNER OLIVEIRA SILVA on Jan 30, 2012, 10:15 amfootprint. Below the “Building Footprint” definition, presented in LEED On line. “Building footprint is the area on a project site used by the building structure, defined by the perimeter of the building plan. Parking lots, parking garages, landscapes, and other nonbuilding facilities are not included in the building footprint." Considering the text above, we have some questions about the exclusion of the parking garages and parking lots of the Building footprint, we are concerned if this exclusion is applied for all situations. So we have two scenarios in which we would like to know if we should exclude... Last reply: Nirab Biswas, Dec 2, 2017, 12:08 am |

Minimum Thresholds for Landscape CreditsLEED for Homes (LEED-H) Forumposted by Sam Watters on Feb 1, 2012, 2:18 pmMy project is pursuing LEED for Homes: Multifamily Midrise, and I'm, wondering if it has enough landscaped area to qualify for some of the water efficiency and other landscaping credits. The building in question is a 4 story multifamily unit that is located within a 3 building development that all share a common courtyard. We were initially planning on drawing the LEED boundary at the building line, as the rest of the parcel is pursuing LEED ND certification. There are, however, plant beds that run adjacent to the building along most of the perimeter, as well as several trees and shrubs... Last reply: Tristan Roberts, Feb 17, 2012, 10:55 am |

Calculating Runoff to a Rain GardenNC-2009 SSc6.1: Stormwater design - quantity controlposted by Christine Robbins-Elrod on Feb 1, 2012, 4:39 pmHello, Our project is an adaptive reuse on an urban site that was previously about 95% impervious. We are increasing the area of vegetated space (the old parking lot is being demolished), collecting rainwater from about 6700 SF of the roof area, and creating a rain garden out of a vegetated parking island that is about 1800 SF. We had already put together the stormwater volume reduction calculations using the NRCS method before the team decided to add the rain garden (we had previously been considering pervious pavement for a section of the front driveway), and now we are having trouble determining...
