Primers - really?

NC-2009 IEQc4.2:Low-Emitting Materials—Paints and Coatings
posted by  Keith Robertson  on

In my opinion, LEED 2009 incorrectly categorizes primers. I know that the table issued with the 4/14/10 addendum clearly lumps primers into the GS-11 requirements. This I don’t understand.

For a project where turf grass area is replaced by native low-irrigation demanding planting would baseline landscape type include turf whereas design type include the new water efficient species?

I see nothing in this credit that discusses commingled diversion methodologies or requires monthly diversion rate backup from facilities like the NC rating system.

What if only 2 of 3 stairwells meet daylighting requirement?

In a multi-family project, we have 2 of 3 stairwells that meet the daylighting requirement. Would we still be able to claim credit for the daylighting option, as 1 of our 7 features?
