I would say the bottom line is to use a consistent methodology that is reasonable for your project, and to make sure that it doesn't appear inconsistent to GBCI reviewers. How do Fire stations qualify for Energy Star ratings? Do we need a year’s of supporting data to show the building energy consumption to be 123 kBtu/Sqft or less to certify under LEED-EB: O&M...

How is the water used for an outdoor fountain calculated? Is it part of the landcape irrigation calc? It certainly doesn't qualify for indoor water use. any help would be appreciated!

The only view factor I know is the one for electromagnetic radiation.
