Yes, this linked document would be a floor plan that was uploaded as the part of the general project documents. The intent here was to make things easier on us. But, in reality it doesn’t work for many credits because it is best to show more detail or highlight certain areas. Personally, I would upload a clear, legible floor plan for the general documents and only use that for a handful of credits. For the rest of the credits that need detailed information on the plans, I would upload a more appropriate plan. In the LEED Online Credit Form, under the sentence that talks about the linked plan there will be an area that says “Select one of the following” and you get the opportunity to pick “A different plan is better suited to satisfy this requirement.” Once you click that radial, you can upload any plan you need to.

I went to upload representative plans, elevations, renderings, etc... I press the upload button and it clears the screen. When I check the scorecard nothing has been uploaded, files = 0. I am the Architect and Administrator for the project. Any thoughts.

Not sure, sounds like a bug in LEED Online. I would send GBCI a note via the feedback button. I hope they help soon!

The bug is MicroSoft Explorer 8. It needs to be added to the "Compatibility View Settings" in the Tools menu.

I am running LEEDOnline in compatibility view and I'm having the same problem. Will it make a difference when I submit if the form shows the file as not there, when it really is there? I need to submit for review today and I can't get some of the forms to recognized that they are complete.

If it's possible to include a note with your submission (perhaps with each credit where it's relevant) noting the situation, I would do that. One would hope it's not an issue...
