Revise requirements to read as:
Cities or communities may choose one or more strategies for procuring renewable energy (such as solar PV, wind, geothermal, micro or small -scale hydro , or biomass) from the categories below. Points are based on total power supply and thermal energy supply (heating and cooling) met by renewable energy.

Revise first paragraph under Power Surety and Resiliency to read as:
"Identify cities’ or communities’ critical loads or emergency facilities and essential services that require backup power during widespread outages or disasters. Determine minimum daily runtime requirements for the identified emergency facilities and essential services. Demonstrate that the city, utility or service provider can supply power to identified emergency facilities and essential services in meeting their minimum daily runtime."

Revise Option 1 to read as:
Street lighting and public area lighting in the city or community should meet the efficiency related requirements of ‘ANSI/IESNA RP-8-14 Roadway Lighting or local or regional equivalent. In addition, lamps should have a minimum Luminous Efficacy of 100 lumens per watt. Points are awarded according to Table 8:

"Adopt smart waste management strategies or solutions to handle a minimum of 20% of the waste generated within the city or community (2 points).
Possible strategies include
 Pneumatic transport systems: An automated vacuum waste collection system transports waste at high speed through underground pneumatic tubes to a collection station. The waste is compactly packed in containers and transported. The pneumatic transport system must include an underground transport network, and a waste handling and processing facility.

Delete "Choose one or both options:"

Revise both Intents for WE prerequisite Outdoor Water Use Reduction and WE credit Outdoor Water Use Reduction to read as follows: "To reduce outdoor potable water consumption and preserve no and low-cost potable water resources."

Revise Intent for WE prerequisite Building-Level Water Metering as follows:
"To conserve low cost potable water resources and support water management and identify opportunities for additional water savings by tracking water consumption."

EA prerequisite Minimum Energy Performance:
- revise Intent to read as follows: "To promote resilience and reduce the environmental and economic harms of excessive energy use that disproportionately impact frontline communities by achieving a minimum level of energy efficiency for the building and its systems."
