Offsite Renewable Energy

Our project will have a biofuel system that utilizes agricultural crops as the biofuel. Per the LEED reference guide this is considered to be renewable energy.

We've evaluated energy consumption during design phase and are working with the owner to determine who we will be purchase credits from. Question is really timing.

airflow control in a reference building

In our proposed building we have CAV ventilation system which at night (when there's noone in the building) will provide 50% of the designe airflow rates.

Can I register a Mock or Dummy Project for training purposes?

I wish to pay the fee and register with LEEDonline (v3) a project about a real building that is to be designed and constructed, but the owner is not interested in obtaining any LEED certification.

I need some clarification on what definition of a "ventilation system" would be with respect to design that uses a DOAS unit that provides outdoor air to each space.

Termic coating - where to fit?

We have a product that will be used on the metal piping of a power generator. The piping will become hot during use, therefore the coating needs to be resistant to the heat.

Can anyone tell me if the addition of interior storm windows without a change in existing fixed windows would trigger having to meet either the prescriptive requirements or the ECB ch.
