The previous version of CPG also says "and". For an international project I would think that if you can demonstrate that it meets...

What if no fan/pump motors are greater than or equal to 5 hp?

CI-2009 EAc1.3: Optimize energy performance - HVAC
posted by Heather Langford on Feb 26, 2010, 9:57 am

Option 1 of this credit states that all motors 5 hp and greater must have VFDs that decrease fan power to 30%. If none of the installed fan motors are 5 hp or greater, can this credit be...

Marcus Sheffer LEED Fellow 7group / Energy Opportunities LEEDuser Expert 5903 thumbs up December 31, 2013- 11:31 am You can get credit for an efficient central plant. There are also scenarios in the modeling protocol to get credit for envelope improvements in some cases. The baseline system is defined by Section 11 or Appendix G in all cases. The best guidance on how to do this modeling is in the ID+C Reference Guide so do not rely on this forum for definitive guidance in all cases. This especially applies to any advice i may have provided.:-) Log in or register to post comments ...
