Daniela, this is a tricky situation, particularly as LEED v4 has some credits that reward early design assessments that you won't be able to do. However, as long as you can identify enough credits that you can go after, I don't see any inherent obstacles to the situation. Certainly projects on this forum have done it before, and I hope they will chime in with thoughts. In terms of this prereq, special circumstances like this are not uncommon.
