Self-closing doors

The labs in this high school building do not have self-closing doors because of life safety recommendations and faculty preference.

I am working in a project for which my client has made a contract with the Mexican only company to receive 100% of its energy from clean energy source which means wind farms in Oaxaca, Mexico.

Are the primer and topcoat applied to the fire fighting and HVAC systems pipes required to be compliant with VOC limits if the pipes are hidden inside the wall and flooring layers or above the fals

The latest LEED Online version 04 for MRc4 Recycled Content and MRc5 Regional Materials now has a stand alone spreadsheet which is much easier to complete.

Building with a Machine Shop

I am working on a building that includes a machine shop on the first floor that accounts for more than 10% of the total building area. Does the shop need to be included in the APPA audit?

Millwork and white boards

I was under the impression that millwork and white boards were not included in this credit because they're not "base building materials." I just got a LEED review back stating that they are include

Receipts in foreign language & Mixed waste conversion factors

Dear all, 1) What is the best thing to do if the waste receipts are in a foreign language (Arabic)? The recycling facility/landfill cannot provide any document in English.

path 7 & 8 : Gray water

CI-2009 SSc1:Site Selection

my project is registered for LEED CI 2009 , we are using gray water for irrigation , which means 100 % reduction of potable water , does this qualify the project for the other 2 points of path 8 ??
