Simple simulation question
NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performanceposted by Timo Marquez on
This might be a rather simple question, but would like avoid confusion.
Energy Recovery in baseline
NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performanceposted by Haojie Wang on
G3.1.2.10 says ER is needed when design cfm >5000 and more than 70% OA. I wonder does this mean the proposed or baseline design cfm? Our proposed design uses chilled-beam w/100% OA in the DOAS.
Mandatory Provisions
NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performanceposted by Diego Escalona on
Hello All, I have two questions about compliance with the mandatory provision: 1) Only the main air conditioning system should be evaluated with the tables in chapter 6?
Basecase Building Envelope

NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performanceposted by Eric Wright on
I am modelling a large multi use building where the peak occupancy never rises above ~70%. Different areas of the building are used on different days but never all at once.
Major renovation, model rotation
NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performanceposted by Saju Varghese on
If a project is being demolished but the slab and some columns are being kept, would that be considered a major renovation since we are not given the option of redesigning the orientation of the bu
Laboratories - Appendix G Baseline System
NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performanceposted by Adam Judge on
G3.1.1, Exception "d" requires laboratory spaces with a minimum of 5000 cfm of exhaust to use a baseline system type 5 or 7 that reduce the exhaust and makeup air volume to 50% of design values dur
