Hello Everyone,
we are certifing a new construction building in Germany. We have a question regarding the use of ACP and EAP2.
For IEQ P1 there is a ACP which means we can use the EN 15251 Standards for IEQ P1. Does this means we can also use the EN 15251 Standard für EA P2/EAC1 Minimum Energy Performance? As the Ventilation rate is also important for that credit. Especially for the toilets there is a difference in ASHRAE and EN 15251. (the exhaust air flow rate for the toilet is higher in ASHRAE)
How should we calculate the ventilation rates for EAP2 for the baseline building and the proposed building? Can we use ASHRAE standard 90.1 2007 for the baseline and for the ventilation rates EN 15251 for the proposed building? For all other topics we will use ASHRAE 90.1 again. Or do we have to calculate both with ASHRAE 90.1 but than the calculation in EAP2 will be different from IEQ P1 (where we will use EN15251)?
Thank you very much in advance

The baseline and proposed ventilation rates should be identical in your model, unless you are taking credit for Demand Control Ventilation. Proposed should be actual ventilation rates, baseline should match.
So if you are using EN 15251, it should be used in both.
