Hi, I'm confused about this option, according to the LEEDUSER's viewpoint page of this credit, if I don't have any existing building to use, I cannot pursue this option?

We have the calculations sf for our existing exterior enclosure and areas to be reused (excluding windows). How do we calculate the Exterior structure?

We are looking at a project in which we are constructing an addition to a registered historic structure. SF of old/new is about 50/50.

Building Product Disclosure and Optimization - EPD

One of the four options for creating LCA baselines according to this LEED Interpretation - https://www.usgbc.org/content/100002019 - is to use an existing building, and make modifications necessary

As most will have noted, the language for the v4.1 BD+C draft came out just before holidays.

Has anyone had success obtaining this credit with a building within an historic district?
