Hotel mix use

We have a hotel with 4,000 SF of retail at the lower level of a new construction hotel project? How do we sepperate the two projects if they have a central energy plan for chilled water?

The project is located in Europe and standard EN 15251 is considered for the achievement of this prerequisite.

MEPC's New Construction U-value cannot be changed?

Recently, we will build a two-floors building made of metal material,  but ROOF and WALL of MEPC's New Construction Nonresidential will automatically run U-0.273 and U-0.479, respectively.

Removed windows

In a building that is being refurbished some windows are removed and are replaced with opaque panels. How shall they be considered in the baseline model?

Hi,

When modeling the Baseline's lighting power using the Space-by-Space method, may I icrease the Baseline's power by section 9.6.3 (Room Geometry Adjustment) by 20% ( if applicable)?

HVAC Baseline System 8 - with Purchased Chilled Water only

We are working on a project where the selected baseline HVAC system type is 8 with purchased chilled water only from a district cooling plant.

Multifamily Setpoints and Equipment Load

Are we required to use the equipment loads and setpoints from the Energy Star Multifamily High Rise Simulation Guidelines?  I found that it is referenced by LEED for Homes, but I haven't found

ASHRAE 90.1 states:

G3.1.3.6 Piping Losses losses shall not be modeled in either the proposed or baseline
building designs for hot water, chilled water, or steam piping.
