Do the required savings for this prerequisite (and credit) need to come only from building energy, or also process loads?

High-powered experimental equipment

We have a laboratory with high-powered experimental equipment. High-power experimental equipment consumes a very high percentage of electricity. 
The experimental equipment is used to simulate the environment and the power is 600kw.
If using the Whole-building energy simulation and add this experimental equipment.
This will cause our simulation results to fail to meet the 5% energy improvement standard. Is there any way to improve?

If the process load is that high then you will need to figure out how to save energy in the process through an exceptional calculation.
