Pressure of water supply for faucets/showerheadsEBOM-2009 WEp1: Minimum Indoor Plumbing Fixture and Fitting Efficiencyposted by Yong Lee Low on Jul 27, 2010, 4:10 amDan Ackerstein Principal Ackerstein Sustainability, LLC LEEDuser Expert 819 thumbs up July 27, 2010- 11:51 pm Fascinating question Shilpi. I think that ultimately the intent of the USGBC is to measure the amount of water your fixture uses relative to a standard fixture. If an IPC-compliant faucet uses 0.5 gallons for a 15-second handwash, the bottom line is how much water your faucet uses for the same wash. If the reality of your building is that you operate the building with low water pressure (intentionally and permanently) and therefore use X gallons of water for that handwash, you should... questions about LEED reviewer comments at EAp2NC-2009 EAp2: Minimum Energy Performanceposted by Florian Schmidtchen on Sep 27, 2010, 12:21 amhello folks, I just received the comments from the reviewer and have some questions about them. The reviewer questioned a lot about the fan power simulation. Q1. AppendixG assumes each floor served by an individual AHU in baseline case. However my system is quite complex: image a vertical section view of the building, then different systems serve various vertical areas. In the proposed design case, I modeled as design; in baseline case I left eQuest autosizing these AHU 's flowrate. Here comes the quesiton: in Table 6.5.3.1.1B, pressure drop adjustment of AHUs need input of heat recovery device... Last reply: Christopher Schaffner, Oct 16, 2010, 1:58 pm |
