In some cases, simply replacing the meter(s) rather than calibrating may be more cost effective.

Don’t forget to provide calibration documentation for any meters or submeters being claimed for credit towards achieving WEc1.

Track all energy efficiency measures implemented and their associated (or anticipated/projected) energy savings. Convert these savings into emissions to document emissions reductions. 

Check in each time the pest vendor visits the building to ensure best practices are being followed and only acceptable pesticides are being  used.

Be sure to include the right inputs in the Credit Form.

Be sure to include refrigerants used in data centers and commercial kitchens, which are often left off. Also make sure that the equipment included on the Form is consistent with the equipment listed in the systems narrative and equipment schedule provided with PIf4.

Equipment listed in EAp3 and EAc5 must be consistent.

The credit forms for EAp3 and EAc5 are linked. If you are pursuing EAc5, make sure that the credit form version is the same as EAp3. If the credit forms for EAp3 and EAc5 are different versions (which would potentially happen if you attempted the EAc5 in LEED Online at a later date that when you had attempted EAp3) the form for EAc5 will not auto-populate, and you will not be able to complete the credit form. Crosscheck that your no and low-cost measures list for EAc2.2 includes all measures identified under EAc2.1 and EAp1, as there needs to be consistency in these three areas.

Include a timeframe for implementing each capital measure identified. A capital improvement plan is not considered complete if this information is missing.
