Non-Inpatient Floors - Total Floor Plate Area

Does anyone know if the total floor plate area for the Non-Inpatient Floors views calculations include the inpatient unit area?

There are questions about the quality view of open-plan office spaces. Vision types 1 and 3 require no permanent indoor obstructions. Refer to example 3 in the reference.
