Just received comments back in regards to fixtures, how come LEED does not allow exam room sinks to be included in the calculations for an outpatient clinic but do allow patient rooms for a hospita

Fire-retardant coatings

The table on LEED online does not provide with the option for fire-retardant coatings. What other category should be used and what is the VOC limit for fire-retardant coatings?

Hello Marcus! In the HVAC design of a project, there is a space where supply ventilation is included in order to accomplish the minimum amount of air required by ASHRAE 62.1-2007 standard.

We are busy assessing whether or not the "Public lavatories have outlet temperature controls that limit the discharge temperature to 110°F" ASHRAE 90.1 Mandatory requirement.

I have a project with non-perimeter group multi-occupant spaces. The Reference Guide notes that they must include 1 airflow control AND 1 temperature control.

has anyone ever successfully argued that sinks in gym locker rooms are more akin to "private" fixtures? Folks do all sorts of things other than wash their hands in there.
