How do I classify a Building already under construction; all Site Utilities in place, 1st Fl. slab in place and 1st Fl Ext. walls already up, in other words a 1st. Fl.

Gross floor area vs. Regularly Occupied Area

I just received my design preliminary review back for a Schools 2009 project and they commented on PIf3 that the total regularly occupied area reported was inaccurate because some of my gross areas

We are working on a high rise multifamily building where the corridors are supplied with 100% semi-conditioned OA. This OA is used both for ventilation (62.1) and conditioning the space.

School with unusually large amount of artificial turf

100% of the athletic areas for an urban school are made of artficial turf. It's my understanding that this would be counted as hardscape under SSc5.2.

Hi, The LEED guidance for minimum building energy performance requires compliance to be demonstrated by comparing a simulation model with an ASHRAE 90.1 baseline.

Is softball infield at a school open space?

CI Lighting Compliance Exemption out of scope

Our CI project does not have lighting included in its scope (very cost prohibitive, for the way lighting is layed out in the space) and base building lighting is being planned to be used as is.
