Solar panels effect on heat island

NC-2009 SSc7.2:Heat Island Effect—Roof

Does anyone know of any research relating to the effect of solar panels , or thermosolar collectors on heat island effect. Intuitively their effect should be positive as they absorb heat.

How are these Regional Priority points awarded? Are these points automatically awarded once we get those credits, that also qualify as Regional Priority, awarded?

Denied Innovation Credit - where to go from here?

We have attempted to achieve the Pilot Credit - Bird Collision Deterrence. For Design Final Review, our documentation was deemed to "not demonstrate compliance" and one point is "Denied".

A building undergoing major renovation including HVAC and electric systems ,window replacements and interior changes but the exterior wall will only be painted ?Does it qualify for LEED NC?

Per the EPA /Energy Star definition, the commercial washing machines are coin or card operated types for use by multiple residents of a building - this is similar to the situation for hotel guests.
