LEED Site boundary – underground parking

Hello all, We are working on a project with 2 stories for underground parking. About the half of the parking space is built for building users as required by local zoning requirements.

How does this credit address playgrounds? Are they considered hardscapes? Ours will have mulch ground cover.

I saw a comment on this site that implied the water used for pot washing sinks and kitchen food prep sinks can be excluded from the calculations, can someone verify that for me?
