NC-2009 IEQc2:Increased Ventilation

IEQc2

I know the intent of IEQc2 is to increase the comfort level of the occupant among other things, but I'm also trying to reduce my outside air from ASHRAE 62.1-2007 levels via demand control ventilation. I'm using the energy model to show the correct outside air values and the 30% increase in ventilation is wiping out the outside air savings I recieve from the DCV. Am I submitting this correctly or is it more of a just choose one or the other because you normally can't get both.

I believe the 30% over-sizing is not logical where you have DCV for all regularly occupied spaces. I am having the same concern and was wondering if the DCV (maintaining 800 to 1000ppm level) is able to achieve the 1 point under IEQc2 LEED NC?
