Do we have to install CO2 sensor in each retail unit if they will be considered as densely occupied areas according LEED definition?

Are CO2 sensors required in locker rooms? Loker rooms are non-regularly occupied spaces but they are also densely-occupied spaces.

I understand that for densely occupied spaces an alarm (visible or audible) is required.

the designer suggests to use VOC sensors instead of CO2 sensors in a number of lunch rooms and the smoking room.

Can natural ventilated stairs and lift shaft excluded from requirements of this credit? If not, how can these spaces comply with this credit?

Could a presure deferential sensor used as outdoor air monitoring devise?.
